Good action and the setting is done well. Fun shootouts. Not much random gameplay though.

First-person shooting with a good variety of weapons makes the game worth playing. Unfortunately the hand-to-hand combat is weak except for the occasional fist-fights on two levels of the game. There was the chance for the developers to have the classic Western bar-fight in one level but passed it up. On the other hand, the horse-riding and chasing after the enemy while shooting from horseback makes the experience worthwhile.

The storyline moves well and does a good job tying everything in the end. It would've been better if higher difficulties added a few more chapters or opened up a new area. As far as game-play, the controls are easy to learn and the concentration mode brings a unique perspective to playing the two protagonists (one is an old gunslinger turned preacher and the other a young, misunderstood troublemaker who's a great shot with the bow).

Replaying the game at a harder difficulty is a little disappointing since the enemy encounters seem to play out exactly the same as before other than they are better shots and deal more damage. Throughout the levels of play, you can collect cards (wanted posters) that encourage you to play again in case you missed some of them on your first attempt. Unfortunately there is no real bonus to collecting all of them except to unlock a higher difficulty.

Overall I enjoyed the action and the story. It simply wasn't the perfect game.
