COJ:BIB is certainly not a good looking game,but it's good at telling a fascinating tale of 3 brothers in Wild Wild West
Story-It starts with a cut-scene telling u that two brothers want to kill each other for a woman,while the 3rd one watches helplessly,n u soon start thinking of the possible explanations as to why such thing happened.The game then takes u some years back,to tell the tale of two die hard brothers-Ray n Thomas McCall,who fought against the Yankees,deserted their army for family,n run from one place to another like mad dogs,till they turn to savage killers,,and joining them is a junior brother-William,who is a God's Man,but is change his brothers fate.The story revolves through McCalls going to Mexico,falling in love with the same women,being betrayed by others multiple number of times,,fighting n helping Red-Indians,n finally the Chief of army they deserted,,,,n every moment of the story is enjoyable!!!!!
Characters-Ray is kick-a**,,doesn't give a sh** about any1,tries to get everything he wants,,yet loves his family madly.
Thomas wants to become like Ray,but he has a kinder heart + He's special with the Woman
William is worthless,but still the ultimate Climax is bought by him only
Marisa(Common love interest) is hot,but acts like a bit** in the whole saga
Barnsby(Army Chief) is pathetic n mad,,,so is his junior McDowell
Seeing Farther(Red Indian-Apache) is a nice character,,but is too short
Juarez(Marisa's BF) is an a**hole!!!!
Others r also beautifully designed,,,even one with a 5 min role,is created with a heart!!!!
Environment-Not so cool,,but do make u remember some classic movies on Wild West.A number of locations have to be slaughtered by the McCalls!!!!!!
Combat-The co-op system is more enjoyable to the single player,,as during all the missions,Ray n Thomas have to fight together(except on couple of occasions).Both have distinctive styles,,like Ray is good in close combat,explosives,n breaking doors(n i really liked him),,,,Thomas is good on long range,can use ropes to climb trees n walls,,can jump to higher levels,,can throw knives as silent attacks..Besides both have their special ability,that can b activated after filling the gun-meter(Thomas wins here)......
The best part however is the gun-duals,,,each enemy behaves differently,,,Juarez n Barnsby were the toughest,,n u even enjoy ur character's death!!!!!!!
Overall It's a superb game,,best in the Call Of Juarez series(Cartel was a shit,,Didn't play Gunslinger),,,n worth a try if u r into games for Story n something new!!!!
