How do I get past Milk Run (Getting to Home Base)?

I always run out of gas no matter what i do i tried just staying on the path straight to home base and not shooting at the planes ( basically doing nothing) and no matter what i do i run out of gas.. how can i beat this?

Wat u have to do is check ur map look for red spots don't go anywhere near them cause they will make u lose gas.

Well i beat the planes and then when it says go to home base it takes me to the next lvl where i have to land on land with a person

Grappler555 is right you dont technically beat that level and get to homebase you need to jump out of a plane into the new level!!!!!!!!!!!

I Need Help With This Too!
I run out of gas every time, but restart from the same point (return to HB), with same amount of fuel, not enough to get by the swarm, can i restart the lvl w/out restarting the game?

Well, i remember when i ran out of fuel, i remember when the soldiers jumped, but suddenly i returned to the "Advice screen", then i dont remeber how to do that again... :(
