E3 2011 Aftermath: Battlefield 3 vs. Modern Warfare 3 (Xbox 360)

its a super badass game it should get an award from (BUNGIE,MICROSOFT,PLAYSTAYTION) THAT WOULD DO IT HALF JUSTICE

These type of games would bring life for video games botha are done with an intensive effort backed by a high quality end...thantks a lot for the creators

@sandux Well dude i took that pretty offensive, because i cant connect to Xbox live and etc in my country, so yeah i play these games for the singleplayer(mostly, sometimes LAN) but in my opinion MW3 is a better game both in SP and MP, the only good thing BF3 has is better graphics, which i dont really care about because MW3's graphics aren't that bad.

I was a CoD fan boy, but that ended the moment they started charging money for a few maps. This is a FPS and not a payed MMORPG. Never again gonna make the mistake of buying games from Activision. Good luck paying 60E for a game then another 100 for 12maps. Thats pure fun. So BF3 is it for me

Bad Company 2 really got me off... well, I hope this one is better than the last game.

i think the fact that you have to pay to play either of these games online is an absolute JOKE. You should never have to pay anything beyond the retail price. ill hire both for the campaigns but EA and IW can jam their subscription where the sun dont shine.

The solo campaign in modern warfare has always been enjoyable but the online battles on battlefield are epic and more realistic.

I will get both games because I think both games will be amazing in their own rights. For me personally though I loved BF2, it just offers a top notch experience in the sense of the scale and design of the maps, destructible environments, vehicles, and just the sense of 'reality' plus I love the fact that you can spawn on your teammates.

@nambar i played BFBC2 and i believe its playing on 30 fps on console..Am i going to switch to MW2 or BO for that reason? NO, because i had so much fun and its the best experience i have ever had playing online..playing on PC is absolutely the ultimate experience, no question about it, playing @ 60 FPS and with 64 players max..but i can't afford upgrading my PC every time "GREAT GAMES" are developed..its not me, i have family to feed, and that's my PRIORITY.. PS.MW3 @ 60 FPS vs. BF3 @30 FPS (I'll go with BF3 because of the overall experience it offers) i really don't mind playing @ 30 FPS 'coz there's a saying "Every Great Players DO ADJUST to every situations"

@lamok0516 I can understand that bad company 2 plays well on consoles , I use to play bad company 1 on console , but frostbite 2.0 is being tweaked so you can still play atmost 30 FPS on console and for people who are use to playing mw2 and black ops have handled higher FPS, EA wants cod fans to switch to battlefield fans, however I just think cod fans wont ultimately buy the game or play it alot because of this reason. Besides PC version of BF3 boasts 64 player combat where as console only 24... Sure you get the battlefield experience but it wont be anywhere near experience you will get on PC.

@charles1432juli that's so interesting how you said that , I was thinking the same thing when I heard that too. There is a good possiblity that the console ver of bf3 will not be as fun as mw3. But I highly doubt you will see alot of mw3 pc players.

I played Bad Company 2 after playing a lot of MW2 and honestly, I think MW2's game style infected me way more than Bad Company. I did play BC2 a lot though, just so I can say I gave it a fair play. I was just addicted to MW2, my first COD experience I might add. There were a lot of great things about BC2 though, that COD does not have, but it all boiled down to game play for me. Then I played Black Ops... For like 2 days. Good thing I borrowed it from a friend and did not pay a dime for BO. It is pretty crappy in my opinion. And then there is MW3... I think I will pass on it because it is the same as MW2 in a lot of ways. More tweaks yes, but nothing too different, which is disappointing. BF players tell me that BF3 will absolutely be better than BC2 and I think I can see that for sure. BF frankly bored me with BC2 but BF3 is going to make me a believer. Can't wait.

I think these types of online multiplayer games should be more dependent on how your team works together to win the game, just makes it a lot more fun and rewarding that getting a new perk, CoD is just too easy imo...

I think bf3 and mw3 will be great im a "fan boy" of both but everyone and I mean everyone is comparing bf3 to mw3 but no one seems to understand they are comparing pc bf3 to mw3 console wait to you but bf3 console to mw3 console then talk and I may be wrong but I heard bf3 on console is 30 frame a sec mw3 is 60 hmmmmmm

in my opinion i think bf3 is gunna have the upper hand cause the huge thing is that mw3 is like the same game every year unlike battlefield 3 its something new plus it comes out a month earlier

People keep comparing Battlefield 3 to Modern Warfare 3. When it has big differences. I'll clear it out Battlefield 3 = More serious warfare, Modern Warfare 3 = More fun arcade-style warfare. You guys really still have to compare the game >_>

it seems theres alot of bf fan boys running amock based on the ratings. i have both cod and bf and the difference is one you play as a commando with years and years of training and the other youre a grunt. if you look at it that way it all makes alot more sense.

I have played MW2 and Bad Company2 ... both games are awesome, but I'm fan of Battlefield . i think battlefield 3 gonna be better simulator than MW3 . if I can I will play both of the games ...

Battlefield 3=massive multiplayer with tons of vehicles, amazing graphics, realistic weaponry, incredible destruction, hand to hand combat, awesome sound quality, extremely realistic battlefields, awesome locations and more! Modern Warfare 3=lots of guns, fake weaponry, no destruction, no vehicles, no improvements on Modern Warfare 2!

The last COD was dissapointing, Not one sniper stage, The last medal of honour Afganistan topped it with I never thought I would see the day, Battlefield 3 will be better than CODMW3 also...watch!
