Gotta be honest. I am not a Call of Duty NUT but i have bought all of them and I will buy this one too. At some point they will get it perfect.

modern warfare two is the first first person shooter game i ever played and liked it(hate first person shooters) the campaign in modern warfare 2 and black ops was terrific, will get mw3

I think I am too poor to buy this game what with Black ops just came out under a year ago and already I have spent money buying two map packs so I think I will pass. Battle field 3 seems much more tempting though but that is also owned by EA. So its more so a case of picking your poison.

Well.. They are really good at marketing - that's for sure.

And the Prestige Edition comes packaged with a fully working AC-130 Spectre Gunship!!!

Oh dear, I think MW days are numbered. Just putting more and more elements onto the screen does not a good game make. If the SAS are back in I might think about it. But otherwise its BF3 all the way. I heard somewhere they were using a new engine? looks the same to me. I think they need to take a year out, work out what made MW so good and MW2 and Black Ops so dissapointing.

I love how people blast a game just because a title of the series comes out every year. The little 2% of you that could care less about the COD series please stop wasting your time posting about how you no longer like the series. It will continue to get Developed and published because the fan base is too ridiculous to just stop making them. Now if you want to talk about something being milked then....... Madden 88,89,90,91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,00,01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,10,11....... Go there and complain and let the COD fans and newcomers enjoy what they like best about the series.

CoD for campaign and Battlefield for multiplayer. It´s allways like that for me.

I never liked the CoD:MW series, but this looks just AWESOME!

For only $400 you can buy the super-duper special edition that comes with a parachute and a road flare!

these 8 hour campaigns don't cut it anymore. Give us a long epic campaign. Give us options during single player, scripted sequences are overated. Go back the he roots of games like goldeneye on n64 or half life when FPS games had epic single player campaigns. Also a game with a mature rating that involves gun fights should include realisitc bullet wounds and gore. mw2 felt too arcade like with the censored violence. @MedusaDarbesi COD campaign are not perfect, especially since MW the campaigns have been ultra linear and scripted with super linear levels and scripted sequences that make it feel less like a game and more like a movie.

Really looking forward to MW3. In my opinion, MW and MW2 took the greatest steps forward in online multiplayer FPS play. Here's to hoping MW3 finishes the fight in that regard.

I hope multiplayer will be good this time. Because Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer is terrible :S No need to talk about Singleplayer.All CoD campaings were perfect!

Sure I will play it. But is it epic, giving me goosebumps, day 1 purchase? Not this time, Battlefield 3 then I will play through the 9 hour campaign here or so. So far NOTHING new...its CoD...nothing epic yet.

As much as I'm tired of cod mp like most here, I really enjoy the sp and I can't avoid buying it , the trailer looked awesome , I need a rehab or something. :(

What does Battlefield 3 have to do with a COD video? Let me guess... BF3 will kill MW3 just like Medal of Honor, Killzone 2 & 3, Homefront, Reach, and Brink did right? HAHAHAHAHA! They are all good for their own reasons. As far as graphics go... Go buy a 1080p plasma and an HDMI cable and tell me COD graphics suck.

I've given up on COD multiplayer but I'll definitely spend a few days on the campaign.

CoD is probably the worst fps series in history. I love how these Activision fanboys keep buying the SAME game over and over. They're like mindless zombies, throw "Call of Duty" in the title of any game and they will buy it.

More of the same- Try something new

CoD is just a copy of itself since MW1, but I'll buy the game just because of the campaign mode which was pretty good in MW1 and 2 - if just for continuity's sake. Now the problem will be finding enough money for both CoD and TeS on the same weekend - those $60 price tags are deadly.

Its the same engine, but the graphics are absolutely not the best part of the game.The will deliver the same gameplay that so many people are addicted to because that's what those people want.They don't expect radical changes, they expect little improvements. And with the millions Activision is stocking, they will make a different engine with the same gameplay. That's it that's all. You don't like, you don't buy.Don't complain about how great it would be if it was different. Minimal cost, Major profits!

I'm waiting for BF3 instead...

Why is MW3 copying Battlefield 3? MW3 are going to have trucks and tanks etc to drive just like Battlefield 3. But this game looks epic though but im going to stick with Battlefield.

Oh dear, and here I was hoping that we would have a COD free year in 2011. I already have 4 COD games and really don't want to buy ANOTHER one, but I probably will, and so will everybody else, probably. Let's just hope BF3 pushes the genre into the next level. BTW, Killzone 3 is pretty damn impressive I think.

WOW look's outdated big time. Look like the same game just new map, But activison can do half a job these days knowing game review with be in the high 90% with comment like "totally fresh and original" people will go out in the massive and buy it and activision will sit back and watch the money come in on a game that was already 70% completed in it last version, This will out sell BF3 for the fact that gamers without skill can pick this up and play BF series has always need a player to think a bit more and it more, and with open warfare in BF it too hard for the random corridor shooter to handle. I just feel sorry for the people how will pay £50 for a DLC
