@ACESandElGHTS Nothing weighs heavy upon Activisions conscience. There are only a few steps left in their marketing strategy...the next step is a rebranding to Weyland-Yutani. @Inflamed-snake You could just as easily ask the guy in the street would you rather play a realistic, political, simulation of real world warfare or a stupid hypothetical arcade game with lasers. Notice to any Activision/IW flacks monitoring the buzz on this game: Don't charge for multiplayer. That's a mistake you can't undo, and I'm betting the sales will lose points if there's even a rumor of it. I've given you guys $250 in loyalty since 2006, and if you repay me by turning my game into World of Warcraft, may it weigh heavy upon your conscience.

I don't understand why people are so quick to flame Cod mw3 when battlefield 3 hasn't even been released yet???? yeah it may look good in videos but how do we know that online and the rest of it will play as good as we have seen?. For me i don't care, im getting both. The only difference i see is that COD has the best Story Lines, Battlefield 3 = another Afgan experience, COD = the possible end of Western Civilization. if someone walked up too you in the street and gave you the choice between those two in a game...... well i know which one i would choose.

MW3 will easily out sell BF3. BF3 also already announced dlc wow already trying to get your guys money and you say activision is bad.

Really digging all of the Battlefield studio plants trolling up this thread. You just know they are terrified of how awesome this game is going to be. MW1 was great, MW2 was just as good and now MW3 is set to be the next big shooter. Go play your silly Battlefield game if you like constant disconnects and getting shot in the head in your spawn. Us real gamers (i.e. those who remember the days of Counter Strike) will be partying it up with Infinity Ward.

Battlefield 3: New frost bite engine which includes better graphics, larger player count, even better destructible enviroments. They're implementing the same customization features as Battlefield Heros so your soldier can have upgradable appearences that effect performance. Theres going to be various amount of attachments, and weapons. They're remasking classic BF2 maps starting from Strike at Karkand, and creating new ones. They're also returning Jets and other memorable vehicles. ..........................................Modern Warfare 3: Another 5 - 8 hour campaign, few new kill streaks added, few weapons added, increasing the size of maps and implementing destructible environments, using same engine as MW1 (2 releases ago). The choice is yours folks.

My brother is a hardcore ArmA player and it is actually based off the VBS series of military training simulators, which Operation Flashpoint is also based on. ArmA is the only hardcore game left, even flight sims don't really exist anymore (and we had like 4 of them back on the Sega Genesis). Besides RPG's and a few RTS's, no other genres make serious games anymore; its all console-based casual-gaming bollocks. No skill or knowledge is required anymore, and no original ideas are being pushed by the big companies, who keep asking for more money for special editions, sequels and DLC. ArmA 3 is the only game I'm looking forward to right now, not because I want it, but because I know they can build a serious, in-depth, realistic, hardcore game (on a side note, I was really hanging out for TDU2, but they fubar'd that by dumbing it down for some more casual gaming dollars).

Different year, same old CoD...im sick of it. Same old engine, dated graphics (also with an old engine, when you try to keep updating it, it will get buggier and buggier)...nothing has changed at all. Let me guess, PC version wont have dedicated servers either? Or mod privileges. We get the exact same, badly ported Console version...Ill pass and wait for a good fps game to come out instead of getting ripped off with a game that could be considered a DLC put at full 50 dollar price.

@vignam You have no idea what your talking about. Your a fanboy by all means. You clearly only own a PS3 which is why you like Socom so much. You have no variety with your games. Starting with Bad Company 1, Battle Field has an all squad based game. The entire story mode and multiplayer is based around playing in a squad. Just because you play with a group of friends on CoD, Socom, Halo or any other FPS game, does not make your game 'tactical' 'squad based' or even 'the best' FPS out there. Use your head and dont be a tool box.

The Russians Aren't In MW3 Damn You!

Man if I wanted to kill distraught Russians all day I would play Grand Theft Auto, or hell Freedom Fighters. I kid of course, and I do like the idea of fighting Russians, but I gotta ask after 4 games of the main enemy being Russian it gets kind of old, that's why I like d the betrayal in MW2 . Screw the Middle Eastern gag, that hasn't really been done a lot in CoD. Now fighting Americans during a war you've been framed for commiting is a pretty cool story to follow up on. All I'm saying is I hope there is some great variety in the campaign and not just a bunch of "Ramirez! Sing me a song!" or "Ramirez! Stop that SAM missile with this chew-toy!" moments. I want more Raven Squad, and deep American corruption war Generals to kill. "War... war never changes." Oops sorry, wrong game. :P

I can't tell you how unexcited I am for another COD.

mw3 will be a lot better than BO, why? Black ops was a over hyped game, people thought treyarch would bring something decent, reality was the game was badly made and barely worked on any PC properly. MW3 at least will work properly on PC thats enough reson to buy it over BO

@PSPimpmaster campers are in EVERY competitive FPS/TPS. Name me one online shooter without campers. It's human nature, nothing to do with the Modern Warfare series.

After Black Ops FAILED hard, I am getting sick and tired of Call of Duty. Fortunately, this opened my eyes for other games, such as Brink, which is F A N T A S T I C, and Starcraft II, which is E V E N M O R E F A N T A S T I C. Don't get me wrong though, I will be buying it like a stupid cosumer -.- This and BF3. Which may be better if they fix the bugs that the previous installment had >.

Im sick of people complaining about BF3 and CODMW3, COD is popular for a reason and BF3 is great for a reason. I am honestly buying both so I can get the best of both worlds.

COD: Run around, spray and pray. No skill SOCOM: use ur team, comunicate using headsets, be tactical. if you do run around and try to kill everyone you die and have to wait for next round. SOCOM RULES ALL SHOOTERS AND ALWAYS WILL

hmmm all i see ppl talk about bf3 vs mw3... most of them saying bf3 is better, but have u played the bf3? i think its another full bug game like moh that i couldnt play it for 20 minutes... lately EA make trailers very intresting but when u play the game thes nothing intresting about the game... honestly guys u hated mw2 that much or u played it again and again until u get sick of it? i dont like bf3 because its seem the player holding his dick on his hand not a gun and i gotta say its the best graphic i've seen for a fps...

I don't care about the maps, multiplayer etc. I only care about the Storyline single player mode and the value it will offer to replaying. I just hope that Battlefield 3 does push Activision to explore ideas other than "maps at extra cost" and put their priorities to single player users.

I hope the campaign is longer than the last COD games, because MW2 and BO were extremely too short. I also hope they can learn from treyarch and add some more realism to there games. When I dump a clip in somebodies face I want a red hole in the there face. If somebody steps on my c4 I waan see a little gore. The MW games felt too cheesy when you shot somebody close range with a shot gun only to see them fall over without a mark on the enemy.

Black ops was the last COD game I waste my money on. Hello, Battlefield 3! :)
