Enter..... Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1.3
Well what did we expect, that IW would actually try and improve the game they put out every 2 years, what that they'd change the engine, improve the graphics, make destructable enviroment, sort out the lag and other multiple problems with the multiplayer?
The answer is NO! Of course we didn't, we get a few different perks, different maps, different guns and an ageing engine. But having said that we still all buy it...... I guess were the fools.
The campaign in this game is obviously very short.... obviously.
The graphics and the way the game plays is exactly the same, if not a little slower. But, the campaign is still fun to play and has cool scenarios which actually aren't cool.... but very predictable as we've played this campaign for the past 5 years. But yes i did enjoy the short time playing this campaign even though it was ridiculous and badly made.
Now onto the co-op, probably the only new thing added into the game. Well survival mode is horde mode but in cod, they've incorporated the ranking system from multiplayer and you rank up unlocking new weapons killstreaks and explosives to use against the endless hordes of zombies! No people but they act like zombies there so retarded, lol.
I don't think survival mode will keep people playing for very long but it is certainly fun with mates.
Then the normal missions are back like the one's in mw2 and they are really no fun to play at all. Spec ops is a very lackluster mode, and is only there to make it seem there's more content in this game then there actually is.
Multiplayer is basically unchanged, it adds a few things like you lvl up with your weapon aswell to unlock new attachments, camos and weapon perks. Also there's different strike packages which allow different types of killstreaks and the way you earn them. A few more little things but really it's not worth the £40, maybe if you get it for £27 from sainsbury's but definately don't pay full price. The gameplay is unchanged, hit detection terrible, really bad lag (not my connection as i have 50mb broadband). They won't fic any of these problems, but they will bring out map packs that will add more problems.
Simply said,
either rent this game, get it cheap or to be safe just don't get it, the only reason this gets more than a 1 is because of the fun campaign which isn't even that good, instead by battlefield or skyrim on friday.
