Modern warfare is called CALL OF DUTY: Modern Warfare 2! In an interview in a dutch video game magazine, CEO of Infinty Ward called it 'new Call of Duty game' + that magazine had big fat CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 2 on it!...... Why would they drop CoD name, when it's a huge selling point?! I don't know where this crap (modern warfare without cod name) started, but, it's nonsense.

@savageforrlife- Dropping the CoD title had nothing to do with Infinity Ward producing the game. MW2 has been in production for 2 years. I wouldn't be surprised if MW1 took a similar amount of time. Why would Activision want to wait 2-3 years to pump out titles for one of their most successful franchises though? The answer is, they don't, which is why they have Treyarch and Infinity Ward both developing CoD titles concurrently. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see yet another CoD title by Treyarch, and really they aren't that bad, they just aren't as amazing as the ones put out by Infinity Ward. As far as the name goes, I've heard we might actually see CoD added back before the game ships in Nov.

Thank god they dropped the crap call of duty title. With that crap company gone Infinity Ward can make a truly great game. I hate call of duty without infinity ward. Cod WaW sucked my 10 inch magic.

k i was gonna get cod5 on the wii cuz ive heard its actually pretty good even tho its the wii which sucks. but if they make a cod6 on the wii thats good ill get it. i know the 360 and ps3 versions are way better but im too cheap to get either one.
