A good place to start playing fps'

User Rating: 9 | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PS3
Hmm where to start while reviewing modern warfare 2. It was the best selling game of 2009 after 2 months got ridiclous amounts of hype and well it lives up to it.

Single Player
Although modern warfare 2 is mainly a multiplayer game I was surprised at how good it was. There were a veriaty of levels, one see's you sneaking around a Tibetan montain range and another takes place in a Brazilian favela. Everyone complained about the infamous 'no Russian' level and yes it is very violent but it gives you the option to skip it. My main problems were with how short it was and it was on the verge of having too many set pieces. But overall a great single player.

'Spec Ops'
Spec ops is one of those things that you see on the main menu but you never really want to try out because you are busy on multiplayer and single player. And if you try it on your own you are probly not going to play it again, however if you play it split screen or online it is fantastic especially the level when some one can see what is going on on the ground from a gunship and they give directions to your friend who is on the ground.

Online Multiplayer
To start off with on multiplayer you are a private with a few guns of choice and lower ranked perks. But then you paly more and you unlock another gun and another ooh another perk. This is what makes the multiplayer so addictive and finnally you reach the commander rank (level 70) and you think well now what do I do. You go into prestige mode which means you get a icon next to your name and you start again from level one. There a ten levels of prestige and if you want to get all of them it will take at least fifteen days but is so rewarding just seeing that new icon that appears next to your name when you prestige. Probly the most addictive game I have ever played.
