Graphics - 9.5/10
My god this game looks gorgeous. it's literally jaw dropping good. I didn't think you could improve on modern warfare 1's graphics... i was wrong. Ever little detail is crisp and clear and the carnage of debris fly in every firefight. From fire hydrants spewing water when shot to everything on a shelf scatting all over from a grenade blast. Every item weather it's buildings, railings, sidewalks whatever all has realistic psychics and the explosions are enchanting to watch.
Gameplay - 9/10
If it aint broke don't fix it. the tried and true call of duty gameplay is here and it's as white knuckle as it's always been.
Sound 8/10
the sound is good. It's gritty, it heightens suspense when it needs to. I suppose this is the one area where it's hard to improve on. It works it sounds great what more do you need?
Story 9.5/10
Wow... the single player campaign is.. it needs to be seen that's all I'm gonna say. As an American it's probably our worst fear. I won't give the plot away but i will say gear up and do the Wolverines proud. It's a roller coaster from start to finish
Multiplayer 9/10
Everything that was great about Modern Warfare 1's multiplayer is back with a vengeance. New Maps, New guns, new abilities. It's as if someone took the best online shooter and gave it a nice kick in the junk to get it angry and fierce. It's not f**king around it's coming for your throat.
in closing if you like military guns and FPS. love a riveting story the likes of Red Dawn then get out of your chair and go buy Modern warfare 2
