Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a very impressive game by Infinity Ward. They sure do know how to make a great game. The single player campaign is very action-packed and intense. It puts you on the edge of your seats at times. If you didn't know, Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter which takes place in modern times. You play as different characters and fight in different landscaping. In a level you could be in a dessert with sand storms and in another level you could be in a snow-tobia with snow storms. Either way, Infinity Ward has managed to give you a world with great detail and realistic gameplay.
Modern Warfare 1 was a very impressive game when it first came out, however, Modern Warfare 2 tops the first game. Modern Warfare 2's graphics are a lot better than the first game. The lighting has improved to look more realistic as well as character models. The landscaping like I said very greatly and are very detailed from the tree shadows to the sound of slush when you walk on wet snow. A lot of passion was put into this game.
Modern Warfare 2's online play is impressive. They is an award system available when you play online. You can unlock weapons, attachments, perks as well as rank up online. The single player campaign is short, however, if you have online connection to play this game online with other people, you could very well as being still playing this game for 2 years. There is a large selection of weapons available for online and offline play!
There is a new feature with Modern Warfare 2 is called "Special Ops." This feature is where you take on a variety of custom-designed challenging missions - solo or even with a friend. There are different types of challenges, such as sneaking around enemies without being seen; go through a training course - keep in mind that these challenges are all times because you have to beat the recommend time limit.
During single player campaign mode, you will love the AI system. Your computer-run teammates will actually shoot the enemies and not miss like other shooters game. You can basically just stay in cover and let your teammates take over all surrounding enemies, but be warned, half your teammates will most certain die if you don't give a hand. So far only one complain, the campaign is too short. I would recommend this game to anybody who is a fan to the Call of Duty series, as well those who enjoy playing modern time war games. If you are not sure if you would like this game, then you should probably rent, because this game is that kind of game worth trying. Enjoy the game!
