Great but short campaign, disappointing multiplayer

I always play the campaign first when I get a new game because I don't want to spoil the experience as most often the maps in multiplayer are the same as in singleplayer.

The campaign delivers as expected. The graphics are the best seen in any video game so far. The scenes are so realistic that you feel like being there in reality (on my 100 inch screen even more so!). With that said, there's one mission which is very disturbing and could have easily been left out. I didn't enjoy it like the other ones. Overall the campaign is an intense thrill ride but unfortunately way too short, just like in COD 4.

I heard that many people are disappointed in the multiplayer so I checked it out for myself and I must agree. It's not any better than COD 4 and the added feature make it more complicated not more fun.

- Maps are too big which slows down action.
- Not enough variety. No vehicles????
- Weapons are underpowered in lower levels. Ranking up is slow.
- Frustrating in many levels

With that said, I think that Battlefield 1943 still have an edge over this game. It delivers much more in that it offers the much needed variety missing in this game.
