PC Version is overpriced, horrible multiplayer, and another short story.Cheap console port with less options.
1. Overpriced
Where did they decide to charge a console price for a pc game? If you are a PC gamer you know that PC games start at 49.99. Somehow they decided to charge 60 dollars for this game?
2. Horrible Multiplayer
As you can see pirating is not only limited to the PC. (Notice the 1 million Xbox live accounts being banned today)Somehow though companies feel the PC version should be the only one limited because of it. Going the steam server only route and this horrible 9 vs 9 route has to be one of the most unsatisfying experiences in my life. When you add in your actually paying more for less it makes no sense. Remember Cod4 had up to 64 players. The hacking has been crazy. There is no way to stop hackers and its has destroyed the online atmosphere. The only way to enjoy yourself if to find a clan and play clan to clan battles. Even that does not stop hackers but keeps you away from some at times. VAC has done a very minimum job but its not a VAC problem. VAC has never been a real time anti hacking system.
3. Short Single Player
The Single Player is very fun. That though does not excuse how short the single player really is. Even on hardened difficulty I was able to beat the single player in 8 hrs. Now for console people they well let that slide since the multiplayer experience is so detailed but its not on PC. With that being the case its really a detriment. Infinity Ward easily could have added a bit more to the PC single player to make up for the disaster multiplayer.
Overall infinity ward should have not even made this game to PC. Overpriced game with lack of options compared to its console counterpart has been a slap in the face to PC fans.
