Juggernaut Armor?

I don't get the Juggernaut armor? How can he survive so many bulletswith his type of armor and still have a unbelievable speed? I understand this is a video game and is based in the year of 2016, but still don't get his armor. Is it some type of special Russian EOD bulletproof full body armor or what?

I believe it's supposed to be a type of EOD suit.
