With Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer Games will be working with Infinity Ward on the single-player aspect of the game. It's funny that Raven Software will be working on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer version; weapons, maps, perks and killstreaks. MW3 features a cooperative mode titled Special Ops too.
i feel this are expensive maps and definitively designed for "campers", even-though i already have this package i consider activision is not giving the best for all people who love MW sequel (talking about online mode), also online mode still being a pain in the ass by do way due their servers suck
Im a big fan of cod4 gold cross 55. so only reason im a little interested is that i like the old maps. will get it cuz im a first person shooter fan and a real tough rpg fan like demon souls. But most of my time is in BfBc2. big team deathmatch fan. not ground war style too many players and too much chaos on mw2 no skill. id like too see bfbc2 come out with more maps for deathmatch. join me skillywilly_187 in bfbc2 for the ultimate 4 deathmatch squad. request me together we'll dominate. mw2 is ok only when im tired of bfbc2
OMFG the texture on Storm level is rubbish. Really disappointed, IMO not worth the bucks.

I have a conspiray theory :) I hope that i`m not right. When this DLC will be available for download and install, i think that the version of the game will be updated. And if the majority of players will buy and update the game, the old version will not be working very good and the steam will force us to buy the DLC in order to find servers and to play. It's hard to see going back to that glitchy, camper-infested game after playing BFBC2. No dedicated servers??!! Everyone loves "finding new host" during an intense shootout. Maybe if everyone sends $15 IW can find some new employees to fix the damn thing!
I wish people would stop biitching about the price of the stimulus package. I mean the designers of the maps and everybody had to take the time and effort to put these maps together so you guys biitching about the cost is pretty much saying that if you worked extra time at your job, you shouldn't be paid for the extra time.
If those maps would be free and they would be at least 10 times bigger and better drawn than the ones i've seen - i might return to MW2, but it's incredibly hard to imagine that after playing at least 3-4 hours of BFBC2 :)
@2421345325 You can alwas check BFBC2 score by pressing "select" on PS3, end of round screen shows you personnal stats and by pressing "R1" or "L1" you can get both team scores, progress of your skill on various classes, etc. :)
I still play mw2 but i agree with the comments about akimbo shotguns ect. I'd change a few things about the game personally. I like how you actually get reconised for your acheivements on mw2 though. planting bombs, gettin killstreaks, game winning kill cam ect. I had a turn on bfbc and it doesn't even have a score board after a team deathmatch, not that i seen after an hour of playing anyway... correct me if I'm wrong. but in saing that i guess that's why people camp so much on mw2, all for the score everyones going to see at the end of the game.
i gotta say this really kinda sucks because the game was ~60$ from where i got it and i'm not really into paying 10 more for some maps , plus i get messages like "disconnected from steam" or "unable to connect to server" in 1/2 cases and in the rest of the cases i have to eighter leave because i don't like the map and no one skips or because my connection times out :/ pretty much of a fail but anyway who knows what is next to come , make a game , sell it for 60$ and after that sell the missions from it for 10$ each ?
Not buying anre call of duty games sorry but after this major rip off from games going from 49.99 to 59.99 and no dedicated servers alongwith charging pc players for map packs? ROFL you'd have to be an idiot to keep buying into this!
This game sucks,and it is infected with hackers and campers,no tanks no helicopters no team play the maps are small and it is only 9v9,that is the best they can do,how sad.I'll stick to BFBC2.

at least its not a unfixed buggy game as battlefield bc2... but 15$ for 3 map... and 2 old 1... a little bit expensive... hope the gone patch bc2..
BFBC 2 has already released 2 map packs, aside from that, the battlefield series has always catered more to the PC community. And has a MUCH better multiplayer system, that has dedicated servers, and 32 player games and the graphics and physx are some times unbelievable what can happen. 9v9 max and local hosting only on a PC WTF? and the graphics? Even at max not much difference than a 1080p XBOX/PS3. Seems more and more games are being ported with no effort or care for PC gamers. Considering the only time i have spent $60 on a PC game was for CODMW2 If it was a free map pack, and they fixed ALOT of stupid bugs and game play Issues(Akimbo Shotguns? Hackers? Campers in Dog Houses? Care Package Knifers? All very lame) I would consider re-Installing it. Only thing good about MW2 was the single player, Excellent!
IW has decided that Blizzard and half a dozen other companies you should all be able to name have got the right idea about how to get the most money they can out of customers. They'll whinge about software pirates, and expense of running servers, and whatever other excuses they can come up with, but at the end of the day, they want more money from us. It's a business after all. They don't make games for us out of the goodness of their hearts. If I had know about the server system when I Pre-ordered, I never would of bought this game. And now that BFBC2 is out, I will never be playing MW2 again, so I sure as hell won't be spending extra money for maps. Frankly the biggest problem is these couch potato gamers living at home with mummy and an xbox. They whinge to mum for the money for some pretty new maps, and happily sit there playing a broken game because they can't think of anything else to do with their lives. Meanwhile IW and any number of other companies bleed money from them... and IW knows this. Why would IW bother spending effort creating decent PC content for the ever declining PC gamer, when it can make so much from this new generation of couch potato gamers? Get used to this sought of things boys and girls, because more and more companies are following this line of thought. It's not going to be all that long before most games are doing similar things. PC Games will become nothing more then half-hearted console ports, while console gamers get all the attention... and pay for every map, patch, and weapon update for every game they have... it's a sad thing.

why would i want more of the same?? hackers galore and no way for me to choose what server i want to play on. great. I will pass. I have been a fan for years, but now i play BFBC2.
So wtf does this have aside from stupid maps? Nothing more than what fans could have done with a map editor. If you'd let us mod MW2, we wouldn't need your overpriced DLC.
@midnightsteel yes i have and it works on some hacks like aimbot and etc but it doesnt work on wall hackers or more recent versions of hacks since iw doesnt give a submarineing phoque about pc gamers the punkbuster is not updated.
I pass,after instaling BC2 3 weeks ago i forgot about MW2.And they want money for 2 maps from COD4 and 3 new ones??Nah,not from me.
What is really really sad here is that IW elected to utilize Steam and it's associated VAC largely as a commercial distribution tool so they could expand their map pack / enhancement sales to PC users for the first time. The ultimate billion dollar spit in our face - one of the best games of all time rendered unfun to play by obsessant hackers simply so they could charge us more $$$$ in the future. I wish the truth about Infinity's CEO/President was known, and if they were pushing for this for their royalty improvements, or if they were against it in favor of the fans. Bad taste and bad call!
@dorianyates I'm really glad you think PC is best, I hope you get lots of great gaming from it but, please accept that for ME console gaming is the best option. I've been a PC gamer and it is no longer my favourite platform. Nothing you can say to promote PC gaming will change my mind so lets just leave it at that. Cya
