A very competent WW2 shooter for the Xbox.

User Rating: 8.3 | Call of Duty: Finest Hour XBOX
Call of Duty: Finest Hour is yet another WW2 shooter that has landed on the Xbox. Now instead of just playing as the Americans you play as 3 factions. These are USA, Britain, and Russia. Each has their own campaign that is shared by 3 or 4 different peoples stories. Each person has a few missions then you go onto the next person's story. It is really nice the way they did that so you don't get bored of the same story. The gameplay is pretty nice on foot, but when you are in a tank things are not so great. The controls are really clunky and I am not sure what they were thinking when they were making them. I got stuck on one mission for a really long time because it took so long to actually produce a quality shot. I will have to agree with Gamespot about the dramatic deaths. You don't really know when someone is dead because when they do die they are still standing for another few seconds. When you are being shot at and the guy shooting you is not in view an arrow will point where he is. So if he is to the left, the arrow will point to the left. There is no split screen multiplayer but there is Xbox Live. But don't get your hopes up because it blows. Graphics are very nice and explosions are very realistic. Despite the new Call of Duty coming I say get this before it comes out.
