Just keep singing the same song recycled.
It's the same game, a good game, but it's the same Call of Duty we've seen previous. This game neither disappoints nor innovates. It simply is just another COD title. They took out the cheese of MW2, added back some of the great World at War characteristics like intricate maps, dogs and zombies, threw on a new coat of paint and sold it to all you losers for 60+ dollars and wait til you buy the map packs in 2 months. If we the gaming community would step up our demands we'd stop paying a large sum of money for the same game almost. Even Halo Reach was more innovative to the series than Black Ops is for Call of Duty. It feels like a mod to Modern Warfare. I remember my PC gaming days when games like Call of Duty were modded. You got this kind of content for free.
But it is good. Don't get me wrong. Just don't be surprised when you feel like you've been there before. When the sense of nostalgia becomes completely overwhelming because you don;t even have to learn how to play a new game. It plays just like its predecessors with a hint of more accurate realism. The guns sound more deep and believable. People will still keep running at you when you watch their ear get blown off so make sure that shot is aimed at their forehead. The addition of gambling and and money is another great way to get an already addicted fan base even more so. Weapon unlocking becomes much more interesting and people are limited on their purchases. This makes your weapon combination more personal and unique.
I haven't played the campaign but I'm willing to bet I know what I can expect from it. It'll be a Transformers 2 like experience. Loud and plot less. Love this game but like its predecessors, it will get old just in time for next year's 60 dollar patch update.
