So can you upgrade any gun at a wall where it says upgrade ammo? Or does it have to be that gun on the wall? Like how do you upgrade the ray gun?

Shoot then stab in the earlier rounds. I know its been said before but this gets you max points per kill.
When you run out of pistol ammo or its taking too many shots to kill the zombies pick up the m14. 1-2 shots then knife them.
The number of shots needed to kill (with the m14) goes up by about one per round IIRC.
In round 2 it should take one m14 round then the knife.
In round 3 it should take two m14 rounds then the knife and so on.

Of all the good recommendations, the age-old "shoot a few times and then stab for maximum points" tactic is the most lost on noobs. It's been a "duh" tactic since people first played zombies on WaW. But I can never get randumbs to ever do it. They just all buy shotguns as soon as "Five" starts out and run around shooting like they're on solo.

Yes, shoot n' stab.
That & plant them slugs in the brain (at least 50% of your kills should be head shots). This makes the nubs scratch their little heads & wonder how come you have so many points & tons of ammo to spare.

you need to upgrade a gun in the "pack a punch" machine
upgraded ammo lets you buy ammo for the pack a punch'ed weapon if its on the wall
any guns you pack a punch that arent on the wall cant get ammo unless you pick up a "max ammo"
example:
you pack a punch a ray gun and an M16
the M16 you can buy ammo off the wall for a larger price of 4500 points
the ray gun you need to find a "max ammo" or thats all the ammo you will get

Im always looking for talent when it comes to zombies. And yes having a mic on zombies really matters as far as making a stradegy for later levels. Add psn: devil-bringer_81 and keep in mind i only play with players who know to only guard there window.

Claymores and monkey bombs combined are great. Throw a monkey bomb, then when zombies crowd around place a claymore, since it usually kills more than the monkey.
