How do I play or get offline combat training for nonsteam version???

Hi all,

Whenever I open the MP mode of COD BO,and click on play,the box says "connecting", then after that I get some message telling me The black ops server is not available,please visit some site for updates. I've seen people play training mode offline,but how come I can't???
Give me a download link, a patch, crack,or any solution on how to fix this problem!! PLZ help I'm bored with the campaign, and my wifi connection doesn't reach my system cause its so far away!!!(this is nonsteam version) PLEASE help me!!!
