Ballist knife pack a punched in Zombies?

In kino der toten online i get this to keep the host alive so he doesn't quit and i've notice after healing them so many times eventually i can no longer pick my knives back up. Had 102 revives in one game of zombies with the bad host. So, Why can I no longer pick my knives back up? It stills says hold x to pick up knife, but it won't let me.

it makes perfect sense, i fire the ballist knife at downed team mates to revive them, after a while it wont let me pick them up, but will give me the option too.(referring to the ballist knife). I can't get more until max ammo. This is also a secret achievement called "see me, stab me, heal me". Fire a pack a punched ballistic knife at a downed ally to revive them from a distance.

Now that is probably a glitch. I suggest waiting for patches.
