I have played 3 days of this game. Not sure if I like it, but it was a bit of fun whilst I did play it.
I'm not so sure on this game. Been playing it for a week and still feel like it isn't polished enough. I keep getting disconnections and lag issues on Xbox 360 (not an issue on any other games but this and black ops). I'm usually pretty good at COD games (not pro by any means, but usually go positive in K/D) but in this game I had only gone positive a handful of times prior to level 31 when I unlocked a decent gun. Just feels like the game mechanics have changed significantly, and while some my find them an improvement, I don't. Also, spawn points seem to be getting worse and worse. I have literally been spawn killed by spawning in front of an opponent mid-fire.
As I was writing this, I hopped on MW3, went 14 and 4 with 4 assists...Haven't done that in Blops II since I started playing multiplayer.

6 Like I love both COD and Halo. Both with great graphics. I just don't understand all the HATE for COD
I think its because a lot of people feel that nothing really changes between games and that they can still sell huge numbers of them. Another reason is that it can be too easy for someone to be really good. I love both halo adn Cod, it just depends on what mood I'm in deciding what to play.
@grim0187 @Fighting40 @PredawnPenquin Well, the perks ARE the same. the maps aren't really the same, because they are getting smaller with terrible spawns that get worse each cod(is that an improvement?). You realize that killstreaks and perks was a new mechanic at one point right?- and they still called it call of duty. They can still add more mechanics and still call it call of duty, but they don't anymore. The pick 10 is just a new balance fix, not a new mechanic. The weapons are ok, you can't do much else new in that category.

Because this CoD changed it up alot. Its simple, if your going to change huge mechanics you might as well not even call it CoD. You keep what works, but change it up enough to keep it fresh. The pick 10 system is not the same. The maps are not the same. The futuristic weapons and perks are not the same. You cant say everything is the same when its not.
@grim0187 @Fighting40 @PredawnPenquin Why can't they? I borrowed and played this one for 5 hours and it felt exactly like mw1,2,3 and blops1. It made me a little sad actually, that i wasn't doing anything new in multiplayer. maybe after putting over 100 hours into mw1, 2, and blops1 each respectively, you want there to be more you can do other than run, shoot, move ahead a little or camp, and get stereotyped killstreaks. Everything feels the same, everything IS the same. The least they could do is add more mechanics to the multiplayer, like halo did with melee. I hate halo, but at least they added new mechanics to keep things new. I never bought a single halo that's how much i dont like it, but I can respect it.
2 Like Prefer BLOPS 1 to this by far. Hate the new maps and can't stress enough how bad the gameplay is. HALO 4 FTW!
@HitmanSquirrel I have to agree with you. I'm not a fan of the gameplay. There are moments of greatness, but I find myself frustrated more than having fun.

3 Like Personally, I bought it Day 1 as I am both a CoD fan along with Treyarch. I prefer their iterations of CoD over IW...anyway
I am having a blast with it, it feels kind of like a CoD mixed with Quake or Doom kind of arcadey...sort of. Fun nonetheless. Anyone on the fence that is a CoD fan will probably enjoy this. Does take some getting used to though.
The killstreak killcams are lackluster and unrememberable...so far
But overall and again this is MP (as I'm saving the SP for this weekened when I can sit down and sink my teeth into i)t. only so far and also just 3 days of playing I give it a 7.5....SO FAR.
