OK I call BS on David Vonderharr. He has another blog on here stating that he doesn't understand why some people don't play multiplayer, but then he claims that this game is built for competitive gamers. If you never played multiplayer, you obviously are not very competitive. Here is an idea David. MAKE A BETTER GAME!!! THE SAME GAME SINCE COD 4 GETS OLD BUDDY. LET US KNOW WHEN IT SINKS IN.

3 Like Black ops built with the 13 year old obese jr high child with a single parent who was raised on terrible cartoons and swears too much. This way he can ask for a modded controller and every other peripheral to try and get an edge and then will spend 90% of game time in a corner with a claymore infront of him popping whoever walks by and then laughing and calling you a fagg....
Competitive gamers are f'ing morons who cannot enjoy a video game for the value of a video game..
Changing everything into a competition is what ruins it...EvERYTHING has been ruined that has moved focus from fun to "rules and balancing"
@Tyreeceholmes I agree totally. I see a million players that want to turn gaming into a freaking sport. Hate to tell you kids, most sports require PHYSICAL EFFORT. Games are no longer fun, they are balanced so that a 9 mm sub-machine gun has the same knockdown power as an m60. Its sad.
All i can say is that this is gonna be sick, but at the same time i think its going to be kind of hard.

2 Like Competitive gameplay my ass... i mean cmon, many of the cod players are underaged kids, i happen to know some. Most of them are trolling, and honestly i trolled sometimes, it's what the game is making you do, you just can't avoid it. I was so excited about mw3, just to discover that it was worse than mw2 which sided with COD4 is the second best game in the COD franchise. I don't see black ops 2 rising to the expectations.
My advice: Wait for a month to pass after the release, check the reviews, look on forums for other people's oppinions and if it's good THEN buy it.

1 Like my main reasons for having never bought and never will buy a CoD are: the spawns, the hit detection, the campers, the goddam annoying little kids and tryhards and the map design. i know IW and treyarch can fix the spawns, the hit detection and the map design. i also know theres nothing anyone can do about campers and little kids/tryhards
my defination of a tryhard are those players that are constantly swearing and/or talking trash down on other players and have no respect for people like me that arent so good at CoD and when they do get beat they rage at the people in the lobby for cheating, teaming up and they rage against the game for sucking even though the game itself is fine, i dunno, maybe my definitoin is wrong, what is your defintion of a tryhard??
The madden of shooters ....errrrr...will i still get reamed on DLC at 14.99 a pop x 2 map packs = 30.00 + 64.50 cost of game = 95.00 roughly ??? .........so when these fat kids aren't playing the game at home they can upload shoutcast videos from school or on their phone..........i'm not sold.....boring..

1 Like @buccomaticSorry but why would I want to get BF3 when I can get Blops 2, did you not see all the new perks flackjacket, dead silence, ghost, and lightweight to name a few. Not to mention this COD is completly different, especially the maps; no more are there the same cars and cargo crates on every level. Man BF3 doesn't even compare.
1 Like you are a moron, dead silence, ghost and ligthweight have either all been in previous CoDs. lightweight became famous in modern moderwarfare 2 while ghost became famous in the first black ops. and flak jacket is similer if not exactly the same to blast shield in MW3 or ballistic vest, which u have to earn
1 Like @buffaloblitz85 Total different. One has enormous maps with tanks, jets, helicopters and real bullet physics and the other is an arcade shooter on tiny maps with no vehicles and zero bullet physics and realism.
Who gives a damn about shoutcasting. How about working on your servers get them a little better. Hit detection blows in all the CODs. The games are great but they concentrate on to much crap that only a hand full of people will use. They are making some great changes but they have a long way to go.

@squidbilly22 You're right the CallofDuty Black Ops 2 engine is outdated it is technically the same as the CallofDuty2 engine.
@Chris_Watters Ask them if they are making the game with competition in mind shouldnt the remove all streaks and have it just best player wins not player with the better streaks wins.
