*ONLINE REVIEW*
After owning every single COD title since #1 for PS2 and playing online that long I thought I'd give it a rest and finally end my contribution to the series...
One more go. Friend sold me his copy of Blops 2 for $30 less than new so i bought it. He absolutely hated it after 2 days.
Bad Stuff!
Main problem right away I've noticed online and COD has always had bad records of this is HIT DETECTION! So many Killcams I've watched where i lay in half a clip of ammo and some guy turns around and caps me with one/two bullets in the leg/arm definitely no killshot by any means. Also Killcam doesn't register late hits. (had this problem since MW1 it's just gotten worse)
Guns. They feel light and weak. Sound effects are bland. Feels like most guns use small caliber rounds like today's M4/M16. Most fully auto guns have an insane rate of fire which is okay. But bullet damage mid-long range is pretty weak. (I thought this was the future? Guns are getting MORE powerful not less!!!)
Zombies. Could of used another map but we all know DLC is coming to make you spend more $$$ of course. Farm level is tiny and not very exciting. Also perception depth is weak. Tranzit especially you can barely see 30 feet in front of you! WTF?!
Now onto Good stuff!
Graphically Treyarch stepped it up. It looks quite similar to Infinityward's work which in my opinion had better sharpness and colors don't bleed together as much compared to Blops1, cod5 and cod3. Game looks great no complaints here.
Map design. Sure most of them in Multiplayer was made for kids with A.D.D. but its great all around fun. Love the map layouts haven't complained about any yet.
Scorestreaks. I find less people getting higher end scorestreaks. Which equals less chaotic cheap kills compared to previous COD titles. encourages people to use other methods to gain points. Bonus!
Zombies! It's a good addition. Love the 4vs4 mode its great fun trying to screw over the other team. Could of used a little more content but still a great addition! You can also level up now which is a bonus for some.
All in all I don't believe this game is worth the full price value since most of it is recycled since MW1. For diehard and newbie fans alike its a good game just not amazing or 9+/10 like some review sites have gave it.
At this point of COD's lifespan you already know what your getting yourself into. There is no surprises here or drastic changes since COD3.

Took some time to make another Hellsing playercard emblem for the PC version of Call of Duty Black Ops, in this tutorial I show you how you can create AlucarD, as always you must unlock all 12 layers first and buy all the neccessary stencils first.Posted Feb 20, 2011
