Disneyland Shooter

Again, I didn't look forward to this years COD release. The only reason I got this game was because I an avid FPS fan and I can't review a game without having fully played it.

As expected, the single player graphics felt outdated, over-colored and clumsy. The story was over the top and top cheesy. I didn't understand that I had to make choices or what the weapon loadout was there fore, as the default loadout worked just fine. I basically just went through the motions, hoping for it to end soon.

The multiplayer was a real let down. Each map feels like walking through a movie set or Disneyland. Colors are overdone and unreal. Maps don't feel like places where I want to run around an shoot people.

Guns don't seem to have any recoil at all, especially compared to Battlefield 3 or previous COD games. So it's pretty easy to rack up kills. A big let-down is that they no longer have Barebones, so all of us who hate killstreaks, can't avoid them.

The only advantage over MW3 is the Theater Mode. However, Black Ops 1 was a far better experience, a game I could play again. Black Ops 2 multiplayer gets old after a couple of months,.
