I couldn't love the multiplayer like in previous editions of COD.

I played the multiplayer for a bit and found it to be a consistently mediocre experience. I can no longer get kill-streaks easily even with the hardline perk always on.

The new 10 point system is ambitious and gives a new level of control of customization to the player, but is that a good thing? After trying tons of combinations I failed at creating any classes that were effective. Even if I did find a semi-decent class, It still wasn't effective enough to help me earn kill streaks consistently.

It seems that kill-streaks are harder to get in general. This is a problem because it takes away what makes COD great. It takes 5 or 6 kills to get a care package which is the only way to experience a variety of kill-streaks. The chances of consistently getting 5 or 6 kills is very high, this makes getting any fun kill-steaks a lot harder. The magic number for a care package has always been 4. They changed this and thus changed the whole game. This is not the COD that I used to know.

The game lag has always been a problem for me and a cause of much frustration but I have always been able to look past it in favor of a big kill-streak run or other fun elements of the game. Getting lag killed at kill 5 is a real buzz kill.

I failed to find anything to love about the multilayer experience and believe the developers have taken a step in the wrong direction with this new game.

I have been a big COD fan for a long time but I know I wont be putting the the kind of time into this game as in previous games. I guess great things can last forever.
