This is a review on the multiplayer

Let's get started. I gave this game a 6 out 10 because the multiplayer is so slapped together and I am sick of it. This year's Call of Duty has added a lot of new things to the multiplayer like wild card system for custom load outs. A wild card is a Perk that allows you to add more attachments to your assault rifle and also like say you don't want grenades and claymores and you want tactical grenades, the wild card allows you to do this stuff. But there is a problem with it. Each custom class you get ten item slots the wild cards take up these slots. Say you choose a wild card that allows you to have a third attachment on your main weapon, and you already have your ten slots full. You'd have to choose one of your items in your custom load out and remove it in order to add your wild card perk. After you do this you can choose your third attachment for your main weapon, but there is a problem. When you do choose your third attachment you will have to remove another item because you can't hit a maximum over ten. So you would have to choose a perk, or your secondary weapon, or one of your explosives and remove it just to do this. This is just one of the things that I think is dumb about the multi player. They should have made the wild card system to where it doesn't take up one of your item slots. Because when you go into your custom load outs you have three areas for your three wild cards. That is really pointless because you have to remove already loaded items in order to fill up all three spaces of wild cards. What this does is you basically have to remove your tactical equipment or your secondary weapon in order to have some of the wild cards that you would want in your custom load outs. Anyway, the wild card system was a great idea, but they didn't think about it that much. There are some cool wild cards, like say one, having an extra perk in one of your load outs. For example, say you have cold blooded, but you want scavenger which is in that same perk area. You could do that with the wild card. That would be really cool but because it takes up an item slot, you would have to get rid of one of your already pre-existing perks in one of the other areas, or an attachment to make that happen. I just think they should have taken more time to think about that. I really believe that the wild cards should not have taken up any of your item slots in any of your custom load outs. Hopefully they will fix this in their next game.

The other problem with the multiplayer that is becoming a huge problem with the Call of Duty franchise is over powered sub-machine guns. Mainly with Black Ops and Black Ops 2. Everyone remembers in BO that the AK74U was over powered as hell and you could use it for all the maps because all you had to do was burst fire for long range, or fully auto for mid to short because the gun had no kick and a really good fire rate. This is back in BO2. Except it's with all of the sub-machine guns. The only difference is, long range they have a tough time dropping you fast, but there are attachments that make the sub-machine guns have no recoil. Which makes shouting at long range easier. This is a big problem. Because they also start you off with a really strong sub-machine gun, known as the MP7. Its damage is equivalent to an assault rifle, just with a higher fire rate. Don't get me wrong, I've been using this myself once I found out about this little effect. But it turns the game play into whoever can pop off the shot faster. And there is no point in aiming with the MP7 at mid and short range because you move so fast that if you opponent has an assault rifle and he's aiming at you, you move so fast on his screen that you will drop him in a second. And they always win in the mid and short range unless you get the drop on them. But if you miss just once they will be able to spin and drop you in seconds. I really think they need to nerf down the sub-machine guns a bit and perhaps give them a recoil.

The last thing I am going to talk about is the spawning. On certain game types, the spawning can be really irritating and can make you really, really, really, really, angry. Say you get thrown into a match that is already in play. This has happened to numerous people, including myself. You will spawn back in, run four steps, and someone from the enemy team will already be coming through, or spawning next to you, and if you are lucky you'll get away but that doesn't usually happen with all the skilled players in Call of Duty now. For example, I will use one of my matches I had a day ago. It was a kill confirm, within thirty seconds, because of spawning, I died 8 times. That is ridiculous for that to happen that easily. And what happens is it becomes a paradox and starts happening to the entire team. You might get lucky if two of your teammates will get out of it. That is something I think they really need to look at. I think they need to make it so that you can see before you spawn in, you should be able to spawn on a teammate that is in a good position and isn't already dropped by the time you get spawned in. This is about all I have on the multiplayer at this time. I'm hoping with the next one they will look at some of this stuff and fix most of these issues. The spawning thing is kind of up in the air, because I realize that there is no perfect way to do it, but it just seems as though it is happening more frequently and it is recurring in all of their games. If it doesn't look by video reviews that they have fixed or are mentioning that they are trying to fix some of this, this will probably be my last Call of Duty. Considering that it is getting really repeatetive with all their games now. PS... the only two multiplayer game modes that I like right now are League Play and Hard Core. Hope everyone enjoys the review, it's been awhile since I've done one. And get used to playing BO2 Zombies.
