Wasn't expecting what I got, and I couldn't be happier.
Create a Class: 100% new, with way more customization then ever before. It's lacking in the guns department for SMGs, shotguns, and sniper rifles though. The new perk and wild car system is pretty cool. It definitely breaths new life into stale area of the game, and should make for some interesting builds. Definitely my favorite part about this game.
Maps: Played about 4 or 5 maps and I only really hated one. That doesn't really happen often. If I like 1 or 2 maps then it is a lot but so far these maps are pretty good. Some do look recycled from past games but that always happens.
Multiplayer gameplay: Very fast paced. You go down very quickly, and take damage quick. Running away from gun fights in this game is definitely not as easy as it was in past CoDs. Definitely seems more refined this year.
Zombies: Played a few quick rounds, and I am not seeing anything new yet. Still fun though.
Overall so far: I was digging it. I was a big fan of the first Black Ops and this game tops it easily. Looking forward to spending a lot more time with the game.
