Why was there so much complaining about UAVs?

You get points towards your scorestreak for destroying them and they already costed more (kills) to get one than older CoDs [before the patch]. They are easier to spot than ever before. In CoD4 and W@W EVERYONE had to use the same killstreaks and you couldn't shoot the UAVs down. They were only 3 kills to get. I don't remember people crying on those games about too many UAVs.

I think it is because you can get them without killing anyone. I think that bugs people.

Most players are from the MW2/3 and BO1 community. they arent use to the UAVs. And you unlock ghost at level 55. But even so, I (or anyone) hardly used stealth perks in COD4, WAW, and MW2

Those games had bigger maps. Don't try pretend shooting down UAVs in this game is an effective strategy for staying alive. UAV is bunk anyway, it shouldn't exist. Completely cheapens the game.

As an objective player it bothers me that you can get them in an objective mode by NOT doing the objective.

The community wasn't horrible when CoD4 and WaW were big, all of the bad kids came when MW2 released

and they messed with ghost some some people don't like it (i don't use it)

COD 4 had some small maps. They were all so good though

maybe they HAD to use a uav but how many times a match did you hear incoming uav or enemy uav or anything about a uav? i bet it was A LOT LESS than this game, every game i join i hear about 47 enemy uavs per game!

Did you not play those games? There was a UAV up the entire game, but no one complained.

Actually pretty often, since TDM in that game lasted an average of 5-6 minutes as opposed to 10 minutes here with a 52-46 final score

Aside from finding campers, UAV is such a dumb aspect of the game. The only reason I use it is to know where the enemy team is spawning, which could be down without UAVs as well. What I find silly are arguments against stealth perks. People can't find enemies without the radar holding their damn hand.

They broke Ghost, that's why people complain now. I used to run and gun with Ghost anyway, but now when I need to stay in one area for a few seconds and UAV is up I have to strafe around in circles.
