Quit in the middle of a search game, afk in multiplayer menu, go to class, come back, game crashed, restart pc, get permanently banned from black ops 2 servers message.
3 days into the game, around 4000 kills, only played search and some kill confirmed. Never boosted, never hacked. I didn't have an emblem set up yet (let alone an offensive one). I noticed that the game will crash if you "rage quit" in the middle of a game. This was never an issue for me until today.
So don't afk in game guys. They now ban you for a lot of absurd things.

Its pretty common banned players will often lie and make themselves look innocent. NOT everyone but most.

whos going to come on here and say they got banned for cheating or being a prick online?no one cause the ones posting on here are looking for sympathy so they tell us their hard luck tale of being banned and we are supposed to say oh man you got hosed etc.and then there are those who have a real beef cause of a dickhead moderator or whatever but at the end of the day no one here can do anything anyways and most would not care if you got banned so its really just a waist of time even making these i got banned topics unless you are just making it to vent and don't expect anyone to care then by all means have at it

I hate to be "that guy" but VAC has proven reliable and very safe. I have never heard of a proven false positive VAC ban and Valve is the type of company who would be receptive and investigate any reports of such.
My guess, you thought this would be just like MW3 and you could hack with impunity. You come home today and realize that you are now VAC banned, not just from BLOPS2 but from every single VAC game on your Steam account. You felt some rage and decided to make up a little lie and stir up some hate.

just an update. I did NOT get vac banned. Check my steam account it's clean since 2006.

What they told me is that I was pending for connection to the treyarch servers for more than 30 minutes as a result the system believes that my cd key is a double (pirated one) and banned me. Note that its a treyarch server ban not a vac ban which means I do NOT HACK. This is totally BS because I bought the physical copy of the game and I was able to provide both a scan of my cd key and a scan of my receipt but they said that all bans are non reversible.

And I do not want to start an argument on whether I cheated or not, because even if I say I did not cheat, you will still be sceptical. So there is no point in arguing. I simply want to warn you guys that treyarch are greedy and will ban for really BS things so you will buy another copy.
