It is the 2nd laggiest COD rivaled by MW3
The COD series in general starting at BO1 are the laggiest games I own on current consoles

MW3 lagged for me, but it was consistent lag. It was the same, no matter what.
Black Ops 2 is a complete hit or miss lagfest. I can either be on the good end, or the bad end. With very little games happening normally.
It's not consistent at all. If it was consistent it would be easier to deal with, but it's not. You can play in the same lobby twice in a row, same teams, same guns, same map, yet have 2 completely different outcomes because all of a sudden your bullets are blanks.

I agree on the MW3 consistency. I could play it right now and consistently get one shotted by every weapon in the game on core. I don't know what is up between my connection and MW3 but the two do not get along.
BO1 and BO2 there is a 50/50 chance I will join a match and have my weapons kill people before I get killed by the death stare where my enemy glances in my direction and I just fall over dead.

on MW3 I would sometimes hear a weird gun shot, kind of like a sniper or shotgun that would kill me. Then I'd look at the kill cam and it was actually like 10-12 shots from a pp smg. no way I would want to go back to a lag like that, no matter how consistent. to heck with that

No, I think the lag is more noticeable in this game, but it isn't the laggiest COD game.

I feel the same way about mw3 and this. I can deal with mw3s lag but this just gets unbearable at times... I would much rather have 1person have a slight advantage rather than lag comp for everyone. If i pay to have a great connection i should not be penalized because u want to go online with your 56k connection..

MW3's lag wasn't as nearly as much as the lag from BO1,2.

i think a lot of the connection problems you guys have comes from not playing with someone near you with absolutely beast upstream that can consistently pull host without 5 people in their house watching youtube and browsing facebook. first person shooters DO NOT require a lot of bandwidth. i remember playing CS at my friend's house in like 2001/2002 when he was on 56K and him being under 200 ping

I don't believe the lag in this game is the cause of the connection issues. You can find games without lag and games with lag, just as bad as previous CoDs.
The issue is matchmaking, and how the game choose the lobby/host you run into. That makes it very inconsistent sometimes.

I never really had any major lag issues with MW3, but BO1&2 were unbearable. I feel like I'm constantly getting 1-shoted while my bullets are just as effective as the KLOBB from Goldeneye.

I've had huge lag issues beginning with BO1, then MW3 and BO2 got much worse. I don't know which I would consider the worst, but I don't have any issues with the previous CODs or any other multiplayer game for that matter.

C this is the laggiest version by far!! IMO it breaks the game- I have one or two nights a week where I can't be stopped, other nights constantly getting killed by magic bullets going around the corners and other BS
