Well I enjoyed the game up until the first Strike force mission. I did not purchase a First person shooter game to play a RTS mission. I suck at RTS. I know I can skip them but knowing that I wll not get the good ending because I did not do them or failed them. Leaves me with no desire whats so ever to even complete the game. whats the point.

I feel your pain, I really do. There's nothing worse than a title that purports to be one then and then blatantly does something else!
I know that -some- people would consider such a thing as an interesting diversion, a little aside to call attention to the wider nature of the conflict you're pretending to be part of but not you and I my friend, oh no! We're purists!
We know what we like and by the Lord Harry, we'd rather stop playing a solid FPS game than have to labour through a 2 minute RTS mission.
I like the cut of your jib, sir and I doff my boater to you.

Why? I played the campaigns of the previous COD games for maybe 6-7 hours each and then hundreds and hundreds of hours of the multiplayer. For me, the campaign is a minor addition to the game, one I could live without.
