The Call of Duty games would be much better off if they had LONGER single-player campaigns.
I mean, with 4-5 hour campaigns, why do they even bother putting it in at all?
If they don't care, just make the CoD games multiplayer-only games, since that seems to be what everyone cares about these days.
I really want to play the CoD games, but I'm not into multiplayer at all, so it doesn't feel worth it to waste my money on the games with 4-5 hour campaigns.

This game needs more gore. How come the barett 50 cal only dismembers one enemy the whole game? If this game had the realistic carnage of W@W and Black ops it would of been a 10/10. It just felt so lame using all these powerful weapons and seeing the enemies fall over w/o a mark on them. I hope somebody makes a MOD for this game so it has the carnage of W@W. Yea I sound sick, but it's a war game! War is horror!

and ye the last good cod...the rest are jsut rehashed craps with the same crappy engine YEARS....but hey they are still idiots who like buy the same game every year
1 Like i love cod and unlike most, ive been around since the beginning and i play the campaigns! What im really wondering though is this game still fun? Its the only one ive never really played. i know the campaign is still outstanding, but is the multiplayer still enjoyable or is it over run by annoying hackers and modders. plz reply if u know. Btw, im asking specifically for ps3 because i know its very different on xbox. Lastly, is WaW multiplayer hacked, or is it okay?
I couldn't stop playing this game back in 2007. One of the best multiplayer experiences ever. I may get MW3, but I still say this is the best Modern Warfare game, best COD.
@aclegend -There are usually lots of people playing the Xbox 360 version, I can't speak for the other platforms since I don't own it on them but I'd imagine its the same.
@aclegend -Sometimes I go online to play this(pc) and theres people playing.Somedays more than others.If you get this maybe we can get a bunsh of us to play.This is the best COD in my opinion.
I just finished the campaign after buying the game ages ago, wasn't too bad (considering I'm not a huge shooter fan)
@Dinodude12345: Yeah, people quit servers closing them but people still play. And its pretty fun nowadays.
