Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Reflex Edition User Review
Campaign is great and may be better than the other versions of COD4. Multiplayer is laggy and takes some getting used to

- The Bottom Line:
- "Highly addictive"
My PS3 died a couple of months ago and instead of spending money to get a refurbished system, I decided to sell all of my PS3 stuff and buy a Wii. I enjoy the games on the Wii so this for me was a good decision. Unfortunately though, I knew that if I wanted to get my Call of Duty fix I would need to hope that the Wii versions of COD are just as addictive as the other versions. I was worried about the motion controls and how that would work, but after playing through the campaign and the multiplayer I feel it was all done very well.
The Good:
It's Call of Duty 4. The gameplay and story is completely unchanged from the other versions of the game. With the exception of the controls and graphics it is the same game. If you've played COD4 then you know what this means, if you haven't then read one of the many reviews on it. The controls will take some time getting used to but I believe that the campaign was more enjoyable for Reflex than for any other version. There's something satisfying about using the motion controls to shoot. It's different and it's fun. Plus the customizable controls and aim assist helps cut down on the learning curve.
The Bad:
Nothing beats using a traditional controller. While the controls were great for the campaign, the multiplayer just demands more precision. It can be very challenging to move around and aim in the multiplayer. Plus, since Nintendo doesn't have the best online service there is a tremendous amount of lag. You'll have to spray a lot and lead your shots if you want to have any success in the multiplayer. It can certainly take some time to get used to but I believe that the multiplayer is still very addictive.
Conclusion:
Campaign is great and may be better than the other versions of COD4. Multiplayer is laggy and takes some getting used to. It's not the best version of Call of Duty 4 but if you own a Wii than it's definitely worth playing if you're a shooter fan.

Took some time to make another Hellsing playercard emblem for the PC version of Call of Duty Black Ops, in this tutorial I show you how you can create AlucarD, as always you must unlock all 12 layers first and buy all the neccessary stencils first.Posted Feb 20, 2011
