A great game to have in your library, albiet a bit long winded.
Here's my beef. The game was a lot of the same. Some people would claim a lot of shooters ARE all the same, although those people would be incorrect, of course. This game consists taking back buildings, or advancing on enemy troops. Makes sense, it's a WWII era game! But after a while, I felt as though it was dragging a little.
My other beef, and it may be a silly one, centers around grenades. I wish they had a bigger blast radius. I don't mean, fire and fancy-fake effects. When a grenade goes off in the corner of a small room, but doesn't kill the enemies inside, I get annoyed. It's a dang grenade! Being on the other side of the room may save you from the immediate blast- but it won't save you from the resulting shrapnel.
All and all, I'd recommend this game, regardless of how many negative things I had to say about it. It's quite fun, and has some extremely impactful scenes (most notably, the beach scene). Go ahead and grab it if you like shooters. Controls are extremely responsive, and you really can't go wrong with this one.
