A very, very good game, for its time atleast.

User Rating: 9 | Call of Duty 2: Big Red One PS2
Chapter 1: Realism
The thing that always makes me smile every time I use it is the hit attack, this
makes the game real as it can be (well.. at least for the ps2) it is great for when you run out of ammo, are reloading, or are "up-close and personal" during battle. The other great thing is the squating and proning (proning means crawling), this is very useful for sniping, taking cover, and sneaking behind enemy lines.

Chapter 2: The Story And The Characters
The story is great, unlike most war games it does not twist the real life story around. And the characters are just one word, outstanding (as Sgt.Hawkins says). This characters (your squad) are unlike most video game characters, at first you don't really care for them but after a while you develop a bond with each of your squad-mates, you start to worry for them, and if one gets killed, its like seeing your dog or cat being shot and killed right infront of your eyes (bond wise). And thier is something that makes your soldiers look like they have the will to live, as if they are real humans that want to come back home alive, and see thier families.

Chapter 3: Faults
It is hard too see the game's faults, but they are there, faults like glitches, battle cries whall you are not in battle, and just simply having a few levels that are too long. To me, the worst of them all is not being able to sprint, but other wise it is a great game and I strongli recommend that you buy it.
