Exactly what I expected.
First of all this is a much better game than Finest Hour in every aspect. The weapons, dialogue, levels, vehicles and graphics are all superior. You stick with the same guys for the whole game which is nice because there is character development. The environments are varied too. You fight in France, North Africa, Sicily, Belgium and Germany. There are tons of weapons-like the M1, Thompson, BAR and M1 Carbine plus several new Italian weapons like the beretta sub-machine gun. The only problem is thtat there are no pistols in the singleplayer. How can you make a WWII without the .45 or Luger? It is rediculous. The missions are scripted and are dramatic at times, but extremely linear like MOH frontline. If you hate linear shooters this is not the game for you. The save points are evenly dispersed throughout the levels and the screen is filled with many soldiers both friendly and hostile. The A.I. is better than FH, but I don't think it's as good as COD on the PC. The voice acting is superb as many of the guys from Band of Brothers voice the characters. There are 14 levels total including the prologue and each takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. The controls are good and fit the game perfectly. I just wish there was split screen for offline play. All in all, a very well thought out game, with a great campign and good replay value in the missions.
