Weird game mechanics makes the game, ultimately, utterly unenjoyable.

Caesar III. It might be an old game, ancient these days really, but it looks solid, the sound's acceptable and the graphics sure could have been a lot worse, and as far as city-builders go, it's prett...

    My name is Maximus.

This game seemed to have everything an Ancient Rome buff would want: build, rule, and command your very own city. I've never played any of the first 2, but reviews for the 3rd was the best, so why not...

Not a flashy game, but one with very solid economic models, emphasising brutal logistics and hardcore planning.

    Rated on March 18, 2013 by Nagesh_Subbanna

The review of the game on Gamespot is a bit misleading, and has a few outright errors. The real strength of the game is the emphasis on planning, modularity, logistics and economy. The military mode...
