User Rating: 7.3 | Cacoma Knight SNES
Cacoma Knight is a fun puzzle game that keeps your attention for enough to be a good time killer. It is overall a very average puzzle game. But average puzzle games can become great time wasters. The background plot is really bizzare. Bizyland is at war with Lasyland (haha) and an evil witch has kidnapped a good princess. And she has been.... er... spread out over the land and you need to find her to put her back together again in a sense. Strange, I know. Gameplay: 8/10 The puzzles are pretty easy to start out with, but boy the get hard. I tried tons of times to beat it before finally getting it in the end. The puzzles themselves run by you manipulating lines to unshadow parts of the land so you can see what's there. It is very addictive and a lot of fun. Graphics: 5/10 The graphics are a little bit behind other games of that day. There isn't a lot of variety in most puzzle games because you are not exploring a huge land. But the colors and land are not as rich as one might expect. But at the same time, the renderings are not ugly or distracting, which is good. Sound: 5/10 There isn't much to say other than that it is there. There is full sound effects and background music to this game. But nothing that makes you excited or bores you to death. Reviewer's Tilt: 8/10 I enjoy games that make you think and work your brain to be creative in problem solving. This game, despite some of it's weakness has a lot of good to it because the puzzles are so fun. It's got decent replayability if you give it some space between replays.
