Poorly made excuse for a hunting game. More like a first person shoot 'em up than a true hunting experience. Boring too.

This game is a poor excuse for a hunting game.

The regular hunting mode is too hard. Getting animals to come to your stand is virtually impossible. Yes, that's realistic, but nobody wants to sit in front of their TV doing nothing for 2 hours like they would outside if they were really hunting. There's a big difference. Plus, the maps are poorly made and claustrophobic. Theoretically this adds to the tension level in the game, but I just found it boring and annoying.

The danger aspect of the game is overblown and unrealistic. NEWS FLASH: Elk do not charge you without provocation!!! This game went way too far with its dangerous hunts. They make hunts that aren't dangerous in real life dangerous in the game.

The Action Zone is pathetic. It just proves my point that this game involves very little hunting and is merely another shoot 'em up game. The only problem is that it's EASY! The animals charge, you shoot, they die. Yippee. The normal hunting action is too hard, the Action Zone is too easy.

The graphics are mediocre. Nothing to get excited about.

Overall, this game doesn't offer much to any gamer. True hunters will find it absurd, and shoot 'em up fans will find that it has very limited appeal. Killing charging Cape Buffalo is only interesting for about the first hour or so. After that, this game will be collecting dust on your shelf for some time.
