Does this game have enough content to make it worth the $30 price?

User Rating: 6.5 | Tobidasu! Puzzle Bobble 3D 3DS
This was my first bust-a-move universe. I had played other similar games, but I was expecting more from this, like some modes to make for some variation from the typical "just pop the bubbles" sort of gameplay. However, the game didn't deliver any of that. Instead, it delivered a boring puzzle mode and a worthless challenge mode. Keep reading if you want to know more:

Gameplay: The gameplay is pretty easy to understand. You got some bubbles on screen, and you have to shoot bubbles so that you can match 3 bubbles of the different color and they can disappear. The bubbles you shoot are completely random colored.
There are two modes, as I mentioned before: Puzzle and challenge. Puzzle is sort of a "story" mode. You play in 8 different world which have 10 different stages each. They also have boss battles, which are pretty easy, they're basically just shoot like crazy.
In challenge mode, you can play in 3 difficulties and with or without time limit. It wasn't compelling to play for me.
There's also some achievements, which felt pointless and boring to do to me.
Basically, you won't get much variety in this pack. There's no multiplayer or sense of wanting to beat your scores. Also, you can't even put a name on the high score table.

Graphics: The graphics in this game were pretty nice. The game has a very retro feel, but the backgrounds are 3d images of the world you're on. The 3d effects are pretty good. When you pop some bubbles, a little monster will come out of them and it will look like it's coming at you with a pop out effect. In boss battles, the 3d is also used, for example, when a boss jumps, you can see him coming out of the screen. Overall, no complains in graphics.
9/10

Sound: The music was really annoying because there's only one song throughout the whole game, just it's remixed in every world. At first it didn't bother me, but later on it got more annoying. To be fair, there IS another song in the credits. The sound effects were actually unnoticeable, to the point were I can't remember them too well, but they do their job.

Story: The story in this game is basically: "rescue your dragon friends from bosses". In order to rescue them, there are keys in every world, which you have to obtain. The story isn't too well explained, and there's not a proper ending to it. There's no dialogue either.

Concept: From what I've hear, this game burrows a lot from other games in the series. However, I haven't played any other bust-a-move games. I can still see the concept isn't expanded well enough. This game should have more game modes and some sort of multiplayer or online leaderboards. We've seen this type of games many times...
5/10

Replay Value: There's not much replay value unless you want to do some boring stuff like the endless mode, high scores, or achievements. For completionists, there's fortunately a little more time than the standard 4 hours this game takes to beat...
7/10

Difficulty: The game is really easy in puzzle mode, since you got a guideline to see where bubbles'll land and can replay stages. Challenge mode can be a little harder in the hard difficulty, but this isn't exactly a challenging game.
6/10

Fun: I didn't have much fun with this game after the excitement of this being my first 3ds game was gone. It's nice 3d effects but that's it. It's too repetitive and short on content to be REALLY enjoyed.
7/10

Conclusion: This game isn't one of the best options in 3ds, even for puzzle fans. It can be relaxing and nice to play on the go, but it lacks content and feels rushed. If you wanna try it out, I'd recommend a rent.
