Bust a move Ghost (Euro version) - A few major niggles that almost destroy it, but well worth it if your a BAM fan...

There are a few faults that set it against the PS1 versions of the game.

1. This is very specific to a horror/halloween theme, which would be ok for the odd other level, if there were more themed levels this issue would not be so bad.

2. The music, while it's just about acceptable in the horror theme, the music on BAM 1-4 outshines this. The music can get very annoying, very quickly and if you have a low threshold for the pulsating and jaunty themes, it could tip you over the edge and smash your psp into half! - I haven't done it yet - but you've been warned, A few classic songs should have been included to break up - and again more themed levels. Look at BAM 1-4 and you see what I mean. Taito you should be ashamed of yourself at producing such tat!

3. The launcher is very very slow, I was pressing all kinds of buttons to speed this up, you will notice in the wide puzzle levels. The only mode this does speed up is in Time Warp - but then this is random. This needs to be sorted!

4. The general artwork, while good for this theme, there should have been some variations. I love BAM 1-4 backgrounds of beaches etc.

5. There is little character emotions and attributes, although you get the wink at the end of a level, it's hardly BAM 2 in terms of animation - I love the big characters next to the launcher and the animations esp. against the CPU. I also liked BAM 2 animations at the beginning of the level, I feel this is missing too.

6. The animations of the bubbles is also wrong, they split into ghosts and there is no impact / sound FX like there is on BAM 1-4

7. I feel the extra modes are just tacked on and a story mode should have been put it, I also feel that the map A-Z with the "?" should be present as the puzzle story mode.

In conclusion everything else is perfect, I like the new puzzles, but still needs a huge overhaul for the next version. I would recommend the DS BAM as it offers a new and exciting ways of playing, and the music is much better.
