It can be quite hard to review old games and not to be biased toward current graphics and sound capabilities. The original game which was released in 1983 was a very fun game, given the game technology they had to work with. But unfortunately, this version of the game falls short of making many improvements. The graphical improvements are minor as are the sound improvements. It is mostly a repackaged version of the same game on a new platform. The graphics are still in 8bit, which definitely limits a programmers options. The sound is a bit messy and doesn't add any variety. The sound effects themselves are okay, but the background music is bad. But behind all of that, the game is still pretty fun. The gameplay is straightforward and easy to get used to. There is not much in the way of complexity. If you can still find this game, it may be worth taking a look. But really, this is probably more for the collector than anyone else.
