Clunky, at best.

User Rating: 2 | Bus Simulator 2008 PC
This game looked really promising, showing off features which were left out of the counterpart 'Bus Driver' feature list. Though when it all comes down to it, this game is quite terrible, in more ways than one.

Graphics ~ 4/10 ::

The graphics are pretty bad. They didn't put enough effort into making the environments look believable at all! What they should've probably done was jazz up the atmosphere, because the buses are, dare I say, fine. Aside from the lights, where they disappear when they are turned on behind other images animated to the bus. *Sigh* we need another good bus game, and right now, this one doesn't seem to be stepping up to the plate.

Audio ~ 3/10 ::

The audio is pitiful. When you go to put a little throttle onto the bus, what happens? Why, the bus sounds like it's going to take off into space! They really let this part down, aside from the bus doors air release, the audio was terrible.

Gameplay ~ 2/10 ::

With an ultra sensitive throttle and break controller, it makes the game ridiculously tough to handle. When I start to drive, I don't want to lurch off the ground and fly towards the next stop, I want to take it gradually and comfortably for my passengers. This game doesn't even think about that. Too bad. The traffic and traffic lights are hard to see, and unbelievably, my high powered computer can't handle it to it's 'maximum capabilities' for some strange reason. Odd.

This game is a pass, if you want a far superior game, without a doubt go with Bus Driver, which I saw in my local EB Games, so now i'm inclined to have a physical copy!
