I first want to say that Burnout is not a bad game by any means at all, but could've been way better. For Burnout, modes like Championship racing and arcade are included. Championship would be where you select a car (each with different difficulty) and race through cars just lke you'd play in the arcades. In fact, Burnout is the most arcady type of game I've ever played, but unfortunately for its own good...A decent racing game that totally lacks options and value which results to a rent at best. Lets talk about gameplay... I wish in the future sequels (which happended), Burnout would improve in a big way. Theres alot of things Acclaim and Criterion Games coulda improved... such as the flaws; AI Problems which can be very annoying and sometimes STUPID! More selection of cars, more value, just about everything couldve been whole lot better with more effort. Its very early in the generation that this game came out... thats why I give developers some nice credit for the sounds and graphix. In the future sequels, hopefully the visuals and sounds would be better. The sountrack could use more work. I would like to end this review now... I'll conclude by saying... Burnout is a decent game, that arcade racing gamer fans should give a good rent. Sure it lacks alot of options and gameplay, but I still recommend to rent it. Bye!
