If you are interesting of the Burnout series don't bother playing Paradise but Burnout Revenge.

I had no idea what to expect when I got this game and I could not have been more pleasantly surprised.

Despite very slow load times the only speed you'll remember involves the rubber you'll be burning on the race track!
