Much Better then Burnout, But still missing a few things.

Burnout 2 was a great improvement over Burnout. But with Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge performing everything in this a game a whole lot better, this one is only worth it for 10 bucks now. And thats not a bad thing. Read on:

Gameplay: 8/10

The racing is a great deal more intense then in Burnout 1. The boost meter works much better in this one. The addition of a crash mode was a joy.

Graphics: 9/10

Superb. This game, while not as good as B3 and BR, is still drop dead gorgeous. The cars look very glossy and the lighting is well done.

Sound: 6/10

The Sound FX were improved in this one and were actually pretty good. The music was still non-memorible and dull like Burnout 1.

Value: 9/10

Worth getting for 10 bucks. and thats NOT a bad thing. Burnout 2 is still a damn fine racing game and is worth the money. its just i still recommend its seqeuls over it.

Pros:
-its Burnout
-Graphics are great
-Sound is better
-Crash Mode

Cons:
-Music is bad
-Crash mode leaves you wanting more
-Racing is dull

Overall: 8.4/10.0

Worth a purchase back when it was released, still worth a purchase now. Burnout 2 was an awesome game.
