The highly controversial Bully is the newest game from Rockstar. In it, you play as Jimmy Hopkins, a mischevous 15 year old who has been expelled from a handful of schools. His mother just got remarried for the fifth, or so, time and she and her new husband are going on a honeymoon for a year. So, Jimmy is dropped off at Bullworth Academy, and thus, you begin a school year you'll never forget. The gameplay is open-ended, and you go where you want, when you want. There are many missions throughout the game, as well as side missions, but there are also classes that you can attend. There are two classes a day, a morning class and an afternoon class. You can skip these if you want, but taking nets benefits. Taking gym will teach you different fighting moves. Taking chemistry will give you fire crackers, stink bombs and itching powder. Taking shop will give you a bike to ride around town with. The classes involve some terrible mini-games, though. This game is rated T for teen. There is violence, but there are no guns or knives. Also, it is not possible to kill anyone. Having played this game, i can't see why it's so controversial. Then again, it was made by Rockstar, known for the Grand Theft Auto franchise, so that's probably why. In closing, Bully is a great game. If you like open ended gameplay and want something other than Grand Theft Auto, pick this one up.
