It's pretty easy to differentiate between GTA and Bully. Both are pretty fun but...

School for all of us has always been about scoring the good grades in class by working hard, and also surviving. We all had good friends, bad friends and enemies. This game puts us in the shoes of a fifteen year-old boy who always got expelled from all the schools he attended throughout his life. He is later on enrolled in Bullworth Academy where all its students are serial killers, trouble makers, and in simply "Kill or be killed" environment. His first mission was to know his friends, and enemies. After that, work his way up to be a well-popular kid in the school yards. By accomplishing missions, side missions (doing favors to both students and teachers, not to forget the homeless man behind the busted up, abandoned school bus) he will work his way up to be the toughest kid in the academy. This game offers a third-person view into a school of of a three level hierarchy. Bullies, Gangs, and Nerds. The mission is Survival. Never get caught by the prefects and never get into fights you know you can't finish before getting knocked off. You can earn money by placing bets or just getting a job. You can spend it on rides, haircuts, carnivals, safe houses, and other things found outside the school grounds. The over-all map is big but not that big when you actually explore it. You can never get to a place as fast as you want since you're always on a bike, skateboard, and a go-kart (that I haven't bought yet... Don't know if its as fast as we want). And that later on reflects the map to be a bit small.

Now, the GTA San Andreas vs Bully comparison: I've heard alot of comparisons lately and I'm willing to give my opinion. Some gamers think that killing people makes a game more fun, but I disagree. GTA SA offers that but that shows the game to be too violent. You can't kill anyone in Bullworth because lets face it, your'e still a kid! When we compare maps we find that GTA SA offers a much bigger map than Bully, you can drive any car you want including lots of planes and motor bikes, and war machines. There are many things to discover and LOADS of things to do in SA unlike Bully. You also feel FREE in SA, go and do whatever you want whatever the time. But in Bully, you have to obey the rules and go to class in the morning and evening classes. If you get cought not in class, after curfew hours, or outside the campus, you'll immediately get chased and forced to your class or dormitory. So you're pretty much running away from cops and prefects in the game most of the time, unlike SA where you only get chased by the cops if you exaggerate with the killing and stealing. In SA you can learn new moves and build up your muscles, where in Bully you can only learn new moves. If we can sum things up we realize that GTA SA offers much much much more than Bully when it comes to free-roam. But if we look at it without seeing a video game, isn't that what teenage trouble makers have to face in real life? It's a good thing that his mother and step-father are on their honeymoon or else we could have been chased by them too!

To sum things up, both games are pretty fun and offer the addictiveness for continuous game-play. But GTA will always outrun BWA when it comes to complete freedom...
