As a long time lover of the Grand Theft Auto series, I just had to see what Rockstar had in store for me here. And after around 26 hours of awesome gameplay, I finally finished this great game. The gameplay was similar to that of GTA with some school-age twists. First of all, no stealing cars. Some were disappointed by this. I say that no one has a cool car in this game anyway and they are funner to smash. Then, running of course. Second difference is in weapons. In bully several things can be picked up and used as weapons. For real fun alternate shooting and hitting people with the fire extinguisher. There are long range weapons, but of course no guns. I was fine with that seeing as the weapons fit the age of the kids at school. Bottle Rockets, Slingshots, and potato guns are no pushover weapons. The best difference in my opinion is using your surroundings to bully people. Shoving people into trashcans and lockers provides instant entertainment. Aside from the numerous gta style missions that make up the game, there are several bonus missions, collectibles, and challenges such as bike races, gokart races, and arcade machine high scores. Overall, I was expecting a clone of gta, but got much much more and I strongly recommend it to anyone who liked the gta series or anyone who just wants to do all those things they wish they could do in their real school.
