If excellent, intuitive and innovative gameplay mean anything to you, Bulletstorm is the way to go. This game impresses on so many levels, yet the one reason you'll keep coming back is for the absolutely addictive gameplay. The idea is simple: 1.You have a leash. 2.You grab the enemy with it. 3.The enemy flies towards you in slow motion allowing you to kick or targets various body parts for unlimited kill combinations that all have humorous titles. (Strap a bomb onto the enemy and kick him into several other enemies = "gang bang", Shoot an enemy in the throat = "gag reflex", Shoot an enemy straight up the arse = "rear entry")
The story is good: Ex-soldier's turned space pirates bent on revenge- but the filthy/humorous/sometimes cheesy script is better.
The graphics, environments, and gore are stunning sites to behold in hd.
The music is decent (maybe a little too epic sounding for a game that doesn't take itself too seriously).
The guns are all original and so fun to use you'll wish they were in every shooter.
The multiplayer is decent if not a bit tacked yet unnecessary.
Finally, there is "echo" which is the best parts of the main campaign made exclusively to score the best and highest kill combos.
I can't stress enough that Bulletstorm has one of the best (if not the best) gameplay mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of playing and playing and playing again within a first person shooter. Definitely check this game out!
